    What it replaces

Paywalled studios charge credits per shot for this workflow and route it through closed video models. Massless rebuilds the two core features, a camera-and-lens shot designer and one-click camera moves, from their public behavior only. No proprietary code, prompts or assets were used.

Inspired by the Open Source Higgsfield challenge. Source and the ComfyUI workflow are on GitHub under the MIT license.

    How it works

    1. Build the rig. Pick a camera body, lens, focal length and aperture in the composer, and set the genre, light, palette and film stock for the scene. These become a precise prompt you can read and edit.
    2. Shoot. A free open-weight model renders the hero frame. Ask for up to four takes and pick the best one, or bring your own still.
    3. Move the camera. Your device estimates depth, turns the still into 3D, and flies a virtual camera through it. 28 moves: dolly zooms, crash zooms, orbits, cranes, pans, FPV, snorricam and more.
    4. Cut a scene. Add shots to the storyboard, reorder them, play the sequence, and export it as one MP4. Single clips and frames export too.

Limits: people in the shot can't act, and big moves stretch the edges behind foreground objects. Keep intensity moderate for clean results.
